Fatal Puyallup DUI Accident on 19th Avenue

 
PUYALLUP, WA (March 21, 2023) – Troopers confirmed that three people died in a fiery DUI car accident on 19th Avenue Southeast on March 18.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 3rd Street Southeast. Based on a report, the victims were in a car that was traveling on 3rd Street prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it went through a dead-end, past bushes and trees. After that, it crashed into and came to a stop in a home’s yard, where it caught fire.
 
After firefighters put out the fire, they found the victims dead inside the car. Officials only identified them as a 24-year-old woman, a 24-year-old man, and a 27-year-old man.
 
Detectives determined that speed, alcohol, and marijuana found inside the car were factors in the crash.
 
At this point, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
