Three Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 66 near Weld County Road 7

 
LONGMONT, CO (November 30, 2023) — Three people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 66 on Wednesday, November 15.
 
According to Mountain View Fire Rescue spokesman Rick Tillery, the accident occurred on Highway 66 near Weld County Road 7 at around 10:44 a.m.
 
Tillery said a vehicle tried to make a U-turn when an oncoming car hit it.
 
First responders brought three people to the hospital after the collision.
 
Authorities closed Highway 66 on Wednesday morning. It has since reopened it.
 
A tweet from Mountain View Fire Rescue said the department was on scene together with Frederick-Firestone Fire District.
