COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 30, 2023) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Chelton Road on November 22.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Valley Hi Avenue around 3:33 PM. Based on a report, officers received reports of a crash near the intersection.
 
Police on the scene discovered a two-vehicle crash. They said that the driver of the at-fault vehicle fled on foot.
 
As a result of the crash, a passenger in the suspect’s vehicle sustained serious injuries. The passenger and other driver’s conditions are unknown at this time.
 
According to officials, police are still searching for the car’s driver.
