Stolen Vehicle Involved in Fatal Crash on 211th Court at Highway 7 in Spanaway

SPANAWAY, WA (November 30, 2023) – Officials confirmed that a man died in a stolen vehicle crash on 211th Court on November 26.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 7. Based on a report, a 14-year-old was driving a stolen Kia on Highway 7 at the time of the crash.

Due to unknown reasons, that vehicle hit another car that was making a U-turn.

As a result, the driver of the second vehicle sustained grave injuries and died in the incident. Officers only identified him as a 50-year-old Spanaway man.

The teen driver suffered serious injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital along with a 50-year-old Spanaway woman who was a passenger in the second car.

WSP reported that none of the three people were wearing seatbelts.

At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
