High-Speed Driver Involved in Crash on 5 Freeway near Woodland in Cowlitz County

 
COWLITZ COUNTY, WA (January 6, 2025) – Authorities confirmed that three people suffered injuries in a high-speed crash on 5 Freeway on December 16.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Woodland around 12:45 AM. Based on a report, the victims were in a vehicle traveling on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, a 27-year-old man was speeding on the road. Due to unknown reasons, the man lost control of his car and struck the victims’ car, pushing it into the guardrail.
 
As a result, emergency crews transported the victims to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
