Thomas Artman Killed in Car Crash on Faraday Avenue [Carlsbad, CA]

Thomas Artman Identified in Fatal Rollover Crash in Carlsbad

 
CARLSBAD, CA (April 18, 2023) – Police identified 27-year-old Thomas Artman of Oceanside as the victim who died in a car crash in the 2700 block of Faraday Avenue on March 30.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near El Fuerte Street shortly before 6:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, Artman was traveling on the storm-drenched road when he lost control of his Mazda MX-5. Then, the sports car veered at high speed onto the westbound side of the street and collided with a Honda Accord and a Toyota Corolla.
 
In the end, it overturned, tumbled onto a sidewalk, and became engulfed in flames.
 
As a result, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Artman died at the scene of the accident.
 
Paramedics took the other two drivers to hospitals for treatment of injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are ongoing.
