Driver Dead, Passenger Injured after Fatal Car Crash in Yuba County
YUBA COUNTY, CA (October 11, 2022) – A single-vehicle crash on Quincy La Porte Road killed a teenage driver on Friday, September 23.
The fatal crash happened about 11:42 p.m. east of New York Flat Road, involving a 19-year-old driver from Brownsville and 23-year-old passenger.
According to California Highway Patrol, the Chevy trailblazer left Quincy La Porte Road and struck an embankment.
The driver died at the scene of the crash.
The passenger suffered from minor injuries.
This resulted in major damage to the vehicle, police say.
