Young Boy Dies after Santa Ana Pedestrian Accident

 
SANTA ANA, CA (October 11, 2022) – A 7-year-old boy died in a pedestrian accident on Rosita Street and 7th Street on Sunday night, September 4.

The Santa Ana Police Department responded to a pedestrian crash along Rosita Street and 7th Street just around 9:00 p.m.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a boy in the roadway. According to reports, the young boy was crossing the street when a southbound vehicle came and hit him.

Officers said the driver stayed at the scene until help arrived.

The victim sustained critical injuries. He was treated in the hospital, but did not survive.

Alcohol did not play a role in the crash, according to reports. However, an investigation is ongoing.
