Passenger Killed in Fremont Car Crash on Boyce Road and Stewart Avenue

 
FREMONT, CA (October 11, 2022) – One person died after a car accident on Stewart Avenue and Boyce Road around 4:15 a.m. on Monday, September 26.

The Fremont Police responded to a crash involving a big rig hauling a tanker and a passenger vehicle. The big rig was driving northbound on Boyce Road while the other vehicle with three occupants was then heading south on Stewart Avenue.

The vehicle crashed into the big rig when it entered the intersection, police say.

One of the passengers in the vehicle was confirmed dead. Authorities did not release the identity of the deceased as of now.

The driver of the big rig did not sustain injuries. He cooperated with the investigation and stayed at the scene, according to the incident report from FPD.
