Pedestrian Injured after San Diego Accident on Highway 94

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 11, 2022) – Unidentified pedestrian was struck and injured on Highway 94 around 11:15 a.m. on September 21.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 73-year-old driver struck a pedestrian along the westbound Highway 94, near the 25th Street overcrossing.

The pedestrian was not identified at this time as he was not not carrying ID. Authorities think that he is in his 30s.

CHP Officer Jesse Matias reported that the man sustained major head injuries. He remained unconscious while being transported to the hospital.

The cause of the crash and other details were not released to the public.
