Fatal Tyler Car Crash, Tessa Bridges and Tanaya Scott Identified

 
TYLER, TX (April 18, 2023) – Officials identified 21-year-old Tanaya R. Scott and 24-year-old Tessa D. Bridges as the victims who died in a car crash on Highway 31 on April 9.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 5:25 AM.
 
Based on a report, Scott was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry with 28-year-old Blake T. Lee and 21-year-old Kaylee G. Choice west on the highway prior to the crash. At the same time, Bridges was driving a 2012 Honda Civic on the east side.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the Toyota Camry reportedly crossed the center line and crashed into the Civic.
 
As a result, both Scott and Bridges suffered major injuries died at the scene.
 
Crews transported Lee and Choice to local hospitals with unknown injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available at this time.
