Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 18, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a 57-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident involving two hit-and-run drivers on April 11.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened near Nellis Boulevard and East Lake Mead Boulevard around 9:34 PM. Based on a report, the man was attempting to cross to Nellis Boulevard at the time of the crash.
 
He was crossing outside of a crosswalk near Meikle when he was struck by a white sedan. Subsequently, the impact threw him onto the south side of Nellis Boulevard. After that, he was struck by a gray sedan.
 
Both vehicles left the scene before police arrived.
 
As a result of his injuries, the victim died at the scene. The Clark County coroner’s office did not yet release his identity, pending kin notification.
