77-Year-Old Suzanne Twete in Fatal Crash on 90 Freeway in Medical Lake

 
MEDICAL LAKE, WA (August 23, 2023) – Officers identified 77-year-old Suzanne Twete of Post Falls who died in a rollover crash on 90 Freeway on August 7.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 5:30 PM. Based on a report, 53-year-old Tamra Callaway of Lake Stevens was driving a 2021 Toyota RAV4 with Twete as her passenger.
 
They were heading west on the freeway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, she went off the freeway and overcorrected. She then crossed all lanes to the right shoulder and rolled.
 
As a result, Twete suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Callaway suffered injuries and was cited for an infraction.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
