Julian Ballesteros and Osvaldo Sosoifa Identified in Fatal Las Vegas Accident

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 23, 2023) – The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified 17-year-old Osvaldo Maldonado Sosoifa and 18-year-old Julian Ballesteros who died in a high-speed crash on East Lake Mead Boulevard on August 9.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Los Feliz Street around 2:09 AM. Based on a report, Sosoifa was driving a Chevrolet Blazer at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into a brick wall. The force then ejected passenger Ballesteros.
 
As a result, Sosoifa and Ballesteros sustained grave injuries in the incident. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Department confirmed that both men died at the scene.
 
As of now, the investigation into the crash continues. In addition, no other details are available.
