Motorcyclist Geremy Larson Identified in Fatal Wrong-Way Accident in Skagit County

 
SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (August 23, 2023) – Officers identified 38-year-old Geremy Larson of Monroe who died in a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway on August 8.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near the exit to Alger at approximately 4:00 AM. Based on a report, Larson was riding a Yamaha YZF-R6 south in the northbound lanes prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, Larson crashed into a Hyundai Elantra heading north on the freeway.
 
As a result, Larson sustained grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he died.
 
Crews also took the driver of the car to Skagit Valley Hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
