Susan Posner Airlifted after Sequim Crash on Highway 101
SEQUIM, WA (March 18, 2024) – Officers identified 35-year-old Susan Posner of Brinnon who suffered critical injuries in a T-bone crash on Highway 101 on March 5.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Palo Alto Road at approximately 4:30 PM. Based on a report, Posner was driving a 2007 Ford Focus west on the highway at the time of the crash.
When she pulled to the shoulder to attempt a U-turn, a semi-truck traveling west on the highway T-boned her car. Clallam County Fire District 3 staff reported the truck went more than 18 inches into the car’s driver’s side door.
As a result, Posner was pinned in the car with serious injuries. Firefighters extricated and airlifted her to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
The truck driver, Nina Brown, was not hurt in the crash.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
