Three Students Hospitalized in Houston Pedestrian Accident

 
HOUSTON, TX (March 28, 2023) – Three students who were walking to school sustained injuries after a pedestrian accident on FM 2004 on Thursday morning, March 23.

According to the Hitchcock ISD Police, the crash took place around 7:03 a.m. It involved three Hitchcock ISD students and an unidentified vehicle driven by a woman who was dropping off her child at a high school.

Preliminary investigation details that a vehicle was leaving the high school’s parking lot and was heading southbound on FM 2004. The vehicle, driving at a low speed, struck the kids who were crossing the road at Oak Drive.

Authorities added that the intersection where the students crossed is a well-lit crosswalk.

The students, reported to be two adults and one minor, were all transported to a hospital and received treatment.

The driver stayed at the scene, police said. However, no other details are available.
