Stephanie Vara Detained, 15-Year-Old Cyclist Hospitalized after Laredo Hit-and-Run
LAREDO, TX (April 30, 2024) — Authorities arrested 23-year-old Stephanie Vara after a hit-and-run accident on Sunday, April 21.
According to the Laredo Police, the incident occurred at the 1200 block of Willow Street near McPhearson Avenue at around 2:00 p.m.
When paramedics arrived, they discovered a 15-year-old cyclist confused and disoriented.
Emergency responders brought the victim to LMC in critical but stable condition.
Police said a vehicle allegedly left the scene.
