HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 15, 2025) – A person died while another sustained injuries following a pedestrian crash on 101 Freeway early Saturday, February 8.

The fatal incident occurred near Universal Studios Boulevard at around 2:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials stated that a Jeep Wrangler had struck two pedestrians along the northbound lanes of 101, for reasons still undetermined.

The accident left one of the stricken victims dead at the scene.
