Stanislav Semenyuk Injured in Adams County Hit-and-Run Crash, Santos Sontay-Hernandez Arrested

 
ADAMS COUNTY, WA (December 19, 2022) – Troopers identified 53-year-old Stanislav Semenyuk of Kennewick as the victim who suffered injuries in a crash Highway 17 on December 10.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened early in the morning.
 
Based on a report, 21-year-old Santos Sontay-Hernandez was traveling in a sedan southward on the highway prior to the crash. Subsequently, he traveled across the centerline and struck Semenyuk’s car.
 
After that, Sontay-Hernandez left the scene.
 
As a result, Semenyuk was transported to Othello Community Hospital for treatment of injuries. Hernandez was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing.
