Shelly Gagnon Involved in DUI Crash on Highway 395 in Ferry County

 
FERRY COUNTY, WA (October 31, 2022) – Police arrested 36-year-old Shelly Gagnon of Kettle Falls for DUI following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 on October 24.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened just south of the Barstow Bridge Road around 11:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, Gagnon was traveling southbound in the northbound lane in a 2010 Nissan Frontier prior to the crash. Subsequently, she crashed into a 1997 Ford F-150 traveling north in the northbound lane.
 
As a result, she suffered significant injuries and was transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center by helicopter . The other driver was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville.
 
Police suspected DUI as a factor and arrested Gagnon on suspicion of vehicular assault. As of now, an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
