OLYMPIA, WA (October 31, 2022) – Police confirmed the death a 30-year-old man in a head-on car crash on Yelm Highway on October 26.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Johnson Road around 7:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was traveling westbound on the highway prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he collided head-on with another vehicle.
 
As a result, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office said the victim died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
A man in his forties and his eight-month-old child suffered minor injuries. Paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
