Jamie Walsh Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 101 in Grays Harbor County

 
SEATTLE, WA (October 31, 2022) – Police identified 58-year-old Jamie Walsh, wife of Washington State Representative Jim Walsh, as the victim who died in a car crash on Highway 101 on October 24.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at mile marker 78, south of Cosmopolis around 10:40 AM.
 
Based on a report, Walsh’s car was southbound on the highway prior to the crash. Subsequently, it crossed the center line and collided with a fully-loaded logging truck.
 
As a result, Walsh died at the scene.
 
The driver of the log truck, 60-year-old Edward S. Reames of Aberdeen, was not hurt. Police said both drivers were wearing seat belts.
 
As of now, an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
