NEW BRAUNFELS, TX (January 26, 2023) – Officers confirmed that seven people died in a two-vehicle crash on Buffalo Springs Crossing on January 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 6:30 PM. Based on a report, a black Ford F-150 was traveling on the road prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it veered into oncoming traffic and hit a black Chrysler Aspen.
 
As a result, the adult and a passenger in the Ford died in the incident.
 
In addition, three adults and two juveniles in the Chrysler also suffered fatal injuries. Officials did not yet release the victims’ names, pending kin notification.
 
Only one person survived the crash. Emergency crews transported the victim to University Hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
