Sergio Vasquez Jr. Killed in Crash on 83rd Avenue at Thomas Road [Phoenix, AZ]

Sergio Vasquez Jr. Identified in Fatal Car Crash in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (March 28, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 24-year-old Sergio Vasquez Jr. who died in a crash on 83rd Avenue on March 19.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened crashed at Thomas Road around 10:30 PM. Based on a report, Vasquez was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with another car. Police said speed was a possible factor in the crash.
 
As a result, Vasquez suffered grave injuries in the incident. Officers arrived on the scene and found him unresponsive. He later died at the hospital.
 
Crews took the driver of the car with Vasquez to the hospital in critical condition.
 
The other driver involved in the crash stayed on the scene and cooperated with police officers.
