Ayden Valdez Dies after Kerrville Car Crash

 
KERRVILLE, TX (March 28, 2024) — 15-year-old Ayden Elyse Valdez, of Kerrville died in a crash that injured four others on Sunday, March 24.
 
According to Kerrville Police, the incident occurred in the 200 block of Holdsworth Drive around 1:30 a.m.
 
Kerrville Police said a 2007 BMW moved eastbound on Holdsworth Drive. Then the vehicle went off the road. After that, it rolled over, and struck a tree.
 
Valdez, who was a passenger inside the vehicle, died at the scene.
 
Paramedics subsequently transported two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old to Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville.
 
The two of them received treatment and were released. An ambulance brought the third one to University Hospital. Police said they have non-life-threatening.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted the 19-year-old driver from Fredericksburg to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
 
Valdez’s family made a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral expenses.
