John Do Hospitalized after Greeley Hit-and-Run on Highway 85

 
GREELEY, CO (March 28, 2024) — A 17-year-old boy identified as John Do sustained injuries in hit-and-run on Tuesday, March 19.
 
According to the Greeley Police Department, the crash took place on Highway 85 near 22nd Street at around 8:37 a.m.
 
Do drove his motorcycle northbound on Highway 85 on his way to school. However, a compact black SUV making a left turn onto 22nd Street from northbound Highway 85 struck the motorcycle.
 
After that, the SUV fled the scene. It traveled east on 22nd Street and then south on 1st Avenue.
 
Do sustained injuries during the crash and paramedics brought him to the hospital. He broke all five toes on his left foot. In addition, his big toe was partially amputated. His loved ones created a GoFundMe page to help Do pay his medical bills.
 
Greeley police continue to search for the suspect vehicle and driver. They believe the vehicle has moderate front-end damage.
