Nicole Campbell Detained after Corpus Christi Accident on Everhart Road

 
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (March 28, 2024) – Police arrested 29-year-old Nicole Campbell following a hit-and-run on Everhart Road on March 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened early morning at Saratoga Boulevard. Based on a report, Campbell hit a pedestrian and a motorcyclist near the intersection.
 
Subsequently, she fled the scene without calling the authorities or helping the victims.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
 
Detectives later located Campbell. They reported that Campbell hit an arresting officer in the face multiple times. She is now facing multiple charges including assaulting a law enforcement officer.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
