Santiago Nunez Identified in Fatal Off-Road Vehicle Accident in Amarillo

 
AMARILLO, TX (May 12, 2023) – The Potter County Sheriff’s Office identified Santiago Nunez in a fatal accident in the Canadian River on May 7.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Dumas Highway around 2:20 AM. Based on a report, Nunez was an occupant in a four passenger off-road vehicle.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle flipped and crashed. Law enforcement said that Nunez was pinned under the vehicle.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene.
