Motorcyclist Joshua Olvera Identified in Fatal Las Vegas Accident

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 11, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified 33-year-old Joshua Olvera in a fatal motorcycle accident on 15 Freeway on May 7.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Tropicana Avenue shortly after 12:00 PM. Based on a report, Olvera was driving a Yamaha sports bike northbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he made an unsafe lane change, causing him to crash. Then, the impact ejected him to the roadway.
 
Emergency crews transported him to University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
