Police Arrests Driver Involved in Hali Richardson Hit-and-Run Accident in Prescott

 
PRESCOTT, AZ (May 12, 2023) – The Prescott Police Department confirmed that Hali Richardson is currently in critical condition after a hit-and-run in the 700 block of White Spar Road on May 3.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the victim was walking her dog on the sidewalk when she was struck by a newer full-sized Dodge four door truck.
 
After the initial collision, the driver of the vehicle backs up alongside the victim. He then turns around and leaves the scene northbound on White Spar Road towards the downtown area. The actual collision occurred at approximately 6:50 A.M.
 
As a result, Richardson was transported to YRMC and later flown to a Phoenix area hospital. She suffered severe brain bleeding and multiple bone fractures. She is currently fighting for her life.
 
However, Richardson’s dog was uninjured and able to return home.
 
Police later located the suspect who then made statements about the woman. The suspect’s truck had damage consistent with the collision.
 
The victim’s sister, Jessica Dutton, created a GoFundMe to help them with medical expenses for her recovery.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
