Ronnie Crnkovic Dies, Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Phoenix Crash
PHOENIX, AZ (May 12, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 59-year-old Ronnie Crnkovic in a fatal hit-and-run on 35th Avenue on May 9.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Acoma Drive around 5:30 AM. Based on a report, two vehicles crashed in the lanes.
Subsequently, the driver of one of the cars left the scene.
Police responded and found Crnkovic in one of the cars with serious injuries. Emergency crews transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
Police continue to search for the other driver.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
