Samantha Elliott Killed after Tucson Car Crash on Picture Rocks Road

 
TUCSON, AZ (October 7, 2024) — A 57-year-old woman identified as Samantha Elliott died in a car accident on Wednesday, September 25.
 
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened at around 3:22 p.m. on Picture Rocks Road just west of Wade Road.
 
The PCSD said the initial findings determined that Elliott drove a 2008 Kia Sedan east on Picture Rocks Road. Then she crossed the center line and crashed with the oncoming 2012 Chevrolet Colorado.
 
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Elliott with fatal injuries and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
The PCSD said the driver of the Chevrolet suffered life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, a passenger in Colorado sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Authorities said paramedics transported both individuals to a local hospital for medical treatment.
 
Officials continue to investigate the accident.
