Salvador Beltran Dies in Head-On Accident on Highway 12 in Walla Walla County

 
WALLA WALLA COUNTY, WA (October 1, 2024) — A 28-year-old Pasco man, Salvador Beltran, died in an accident on Saturday, September 21.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the head-on crash took place on Highway 12 at milepost 303 at about 3:10 a.m.
 
WSP said Beltran moved westbound on Highway 12. Then a 40-year-old eastbound driver crossed over the center lane of the highway. After that, it collided head-on with Beltran’s vehicle.
 
Responding officers pronounced Beltran dead at the scene. Authorities have notified his next of kin of his death.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the at-fault driver to Kadlec Medical Center for treatment injuries.
 
According to Trooper Chris Thorson, they investigated the accident as a vehicular homicide, and they also suspect the driver of DUI.
