COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (October 1, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 24 on September 10.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at Power Road around 1:30 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle east on Highway 24 at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the motorcyclist collided with a pickup truck.
 
As a result, he suffered a broken leg in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital for treatment. Police officers said the pickup truck driver was not hurt.
 
The collision also impacted traffic along Highway 24.
 
Police issued the motorcyclist a careless driving ticket.
