Rodolfo Montez Identified in Fatal Crash on South Flores Street at Barrett Avenue in San Antonio

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 6, 2023) – San Antonio Police identified 58-year-old Rodolfo Corpus Montez who died in a head-on crash on South Flores Street on October 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Barrett Avenue around 9:00 PM. Based on a report, a white truck was going northbound on Flores Street at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Montez crossed his blue truck from Barret Avenue and hit the other truck head on. The impact ejected him from his vehicle.
 
As a result, Montez sustained grave injuries. Firefighters attempted life-saving measures but he died at the scene.
 
The driver of the white truck did not suffer any injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
