Roberto Gavia Killed in Crash on 30 Freeway at Fielder Road [Arlington, TX]

Roberto Gavia Identified in Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash in Arlington

 
ARLINGTON, TX (September 12, 2024) – The Arlington Worth Police Department identified 31-year-old Roberto Gavia who died in a crash on 30 Freeway on September 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Fielder Road around 3:40 AM. Based on a report, Gavia was driving a Ford F-150 truck westbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the truck went off the road and hit a sign pillar and the guard rail.
 
As a result, Gavia sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The passenger, a 32-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
