Motorcyclist Robert Hazelton Dies in Phoenix Accident

 
PHOENIX, AZ (July 11, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 46-year-old Robert Hazelton who died in a motorcycle accident on Thunderbird Road on July 1.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 51st Avenue around 7:00 PM. Based on a report, Hazelton was riding his motorcycle south on 51st Avenue at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he rear-ended a car, ejecting him from his motorcycle. Subsequently, a truck driving north on 51st Avenue struck him.
 
As a result, Hazelton sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where he died.
 
The drivers of the car and the truck stayed at the scene to talk with police.
