Robert Harp Killed in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on Craycroft Road and Speedway Boulevard

 
TUCSON, AZ (December 4, 2024) — 54-year-old Robert Alan Harp died in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday, November 19.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident took place on Craycroft Road and Speedway Boulevard at around 8:00 p.m.
 
TPD said Harp was in a marked crosswalk on the west side of Craycroft Road. He crossed against the green traffic signal for west and eastbound traffic on Speedway Boulevard.
 
Paramedics arrived and transported Harp to the hospital where medical officers pronounced him dead.
 
Police said the driver of the vehicle that struck Harp, a 61-year-old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with them.
 
An officer from the DUI Unit arrived and determined that the driver was not under the influence when the crash happened.
 
The investigation is still underway.
