Jonas Ramanavicius Identified in Fatal Tucson Accident
BUCKEYE, AZ (December 4, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department identified 67-year-old Jonas Ramanavicius who died in an accident on Fort Lowell Road on November 21.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Columbus Boulevard. Based on a report, Ramanavicius was driving a vehicle near the intersection during the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, another vehicle turned in front of him and caused a crash.
As a result, Ramanavicius suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a woman, suffered serious injuries.
The TPD said impairment was not a factor in the incident.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
