PEORIA, AZ (October 16, 2024) — One person sustained serious injuries after a motorcycle accident on Thunderbird Road on Tuesday, October 1.
 
According to the Peoria Police, the incident occurred at about 6:00 a.m. near Thunderbird Road and 91st Avenue.
 
Peoria Police said the motorcycle crashed into a dump truck.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene. Then they transported the motorcyclist with serious injuries to the hospital.
 
It is not yet determined if speed or impairment contributed to the accident.
 
Officials restricted traffic in the area as they investigated. The road has since reopened.
