Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Fatal Bicycle Accident on Harmon Avenue in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 16, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a bicycle accident on Harmon Avenue on October 3.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at La Mar Circle shortly after 4:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a bicycle at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit the cyclist and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the victim sustained grave injuries and died in the incident. Authorities did not release the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Police later found and arrested the driver of the vehicle in a nearby parking lot.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
