WITTMANN, AZ (October 16, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that one person died in a crash on Highway 60 on October 5.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Dove Valley Road around 12:30 AM. Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes, roughly 15 miles northwest of Sun City West.
 
As a result, one person suffered grave injuries and died in the wreck. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews transported two others to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
They also closed the westbound lanes for several hours while they worked on the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
