One Dead after Pursuit Accident on 19th Street [Everett, WA]

Suspect Killed after Everett Pursuit Accident on 19th Street and Rainier Avenue

 
EVERETT, WA (October 16, 2024) — One person died in a pursuit accident on 19th Street on Sunday, September 9.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the pursuit began on the Hewitt Avenue Trestle at around 8:00 p.m.
 
Everett Fire said the police chase ended when the suspect crashed into another vehicle at 19th Street and Rainier Avenue. They said it was a rollover collision.
 
Reports later confirmed the suspect died in the incident. Meanwhile, emergency responders evaluated and then released the other driver at the scene.
 
The WSP trooper who pursued the suspect was not hurt.
 
WSP has not yet released what caused the pursuit.
 
Everett PD leads the investigation of the incident.
