Rickey Morrison Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Lubbock

 
LUBBOCK, TX (June 9, 2023) – The Lubbock Police Department identified 60-year-old Rickey Morrison who died in a pedestrian accident on Parkway Drive on June 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Redbud Avenue just before 10:00 PM. Based on a report, Morrison was walking north in the roadway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, 20-year-old Jessie Howle who was traveling west in the righthand lane struck him.
 
As a result, Morrison sustained serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to UMC, where he later died.
 
No arrests were made and as of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
