Two Killed, One Seriously Injured in Car Accident on 25 Freeway [Denver, CO]

Fatal Solo-Car Accident on 25 Freeway at Yale Avenue in Denver

 
DENVER, CO (June 12, 2023) – The Denver Police Department confirmed that two people died in a car accident on southbound 25 Freeway on June 4.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened near Yale Avenue shortly before 11:30 PM. Based on a report, the victims were driving a vehicle southbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
As they were exiting onto Yale, their car swerved back onto the highway and struck a cushion barrier.
 
As a result, the driver and a front passenger sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release their identities, pending notification of their families.
 
Emergency crews transported a passenger in the rear-seat to the hospital with possible serious injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
