Motorcyclist Rebecca Taylor Identified in Fatal Accident in Mesquite

MESQUITE, NV (August 9, 2024) – Police identified 41-year-old Rebecca Lynn Taylor of San Diego who died in a motorcycle accident on 15 Freeway on July 19.

According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened near the state line with Arizona around 2:40 AM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle south on the freeway in front of a 2020 Hyundai Sonata sedan.

Due to unknown reasons, the Hyundai failed to slow down and hit the Harley from behind, ejecting Taylor off the motorcycle.

As a result, the victim sustained grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews rushed her to the hospital, where she later died.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Hyundai did not report any injuries and cooperated with authorities.

As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
