Steven Storie, Ann Storie, and Robert Schiller Dead in Glen Rose Head-On Crash
GLEN ROSE, TX (August 9, 2024) — Steven Storie, Ann Storie, and Robert Schiller died in a head-on crash on Tuesday, July 23.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident took place on Highway 67 near County Road 317 at about 4:15 p.m.
Authorities said a 2011 Dodge Nitro traveled eastbound on Highway 67. Then it crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse.
The driver of the Dodge Nitro identified as 37-year-old Robert Schiller, of Glen Rose, died in the crash.
The Traverse driver identified as 68-year-old Steven Storie and the passenger, 65-year-old Ann Storie, also died in the accident. Both of them were from Godley.
The Godley Fire Department later confirmed that Steven Storie was one of their firefighters.
There was no one else in either car when the crash happened.
Troopers handle the ongoing investigation of the accident.
