Raymond Mills Killed after Motorcycle Crashes into Trailer in Montague Accident
MONTAGUE COUNTY, TX (June 8, 2023) – Officials identified 60-year-old Raymond Melton Mills of Bowie who died in a motorcycle accident on Lone Star Road on May 30.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Hildreth Pool Road around 1:55 PM. Based on a report, Mills was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle north on Lone Star Road prior to the crash.
At the same time, 39-year-old Israel Lozano of Decatur was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup, towing a 2020 Easton Car & Construction utility semi-trailer, on the southbound lane.
When the truck was turned right onto Hildreth Pool Road, Mills failed to yield and hit the trailer.
As a result, the impact ejected Mills from his motorcycle. He was transported by air ambulance to Medical City Denton, where he later died.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
