Randy Elmore Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 40 Freeway in Oldham County

 
OLDHAM COUNTY, TX (June 13, 2023) – Officers identified 51-year-old Randy Elmore of Fargo, North Dakota who was struck and killed by a 16-year-old driver on 40 Freeway on June 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened on the south service road of the freeway at about 10:50 PM. Based on a report, Elmore was walking westbound on the south service road after his vehicle had trouble.
 
At the same time, the teen driver from Vega was driving a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 westbound on the same roadway. Due to unknown reasons, Elmore walked into the path of the Dodge, causing a collision.
 
As a result, Elmore suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
